To know what 'Love' is !

In the world we live, with so many people being involved in start stop relationships,

their is always a never ending question of WHAT ACTUALLY LOVE IS . 

 

Our society foremost defines it as an unnecessary thing which spoils our future.

(yea' Indians still do believe in bread butter and bed).

People in love( or rather eager to be in ) define it as unexplainable-through-words

thing and the rest pronounce it as conceptual and even might term others as 'fekus'. 

 

To be honest i don't have the slightest idea what actually LOVE is.

In fact, im one of those from the confused lot.

I see my friends who loves the other so truly but easily gets rejected,

others who are madly in love with each other and

others who simply lust for the opposite sex. So which of these i believe in?

 

Let me tell you my secret, let me tell you what i think about it.

i argue with my father, but i dare someone disrespect him.

 

i find love in every kiss, my 2 and half year old niece Manya, 

pecks me shouting "Shahnu mama, Shahnu mama where are my new colour colour bangles?"

( my heart becomes like snow in Sahara).

 

i find love in every word my mom says, while i leave for college every morning 

"Have a good day and do come back soon, beta".

i find in my granny's traditional dishes and of course in receiving pocket money too.i have a close friend, a very close friend and if anyone even thinks of hurting her,

i won't even hesitate to sucker punch that person. I show love through my fear for her.

 

Everyday i prayer to my spiritual guru Sai Baba, leaving my anger hatred

and ego at his feet. i find love in being honest to god.

and what i think is...i think LOVE is not a boy girl thing.

it's heart and soul thing.

 

Too much to feel when submerged and too little when you diverge

from the very purpose of life to GIVE SOME LOVE and GET SOME LOVE.
